Time for a Smaller Car

I’ve been driving biggish cars for the last 25 years, largely to cater for the need to cart kids and luggage around. Today I made a small step towards reducing my footprint on the earth by putting a deposit on a Hyundai i30 1.6L SX CRDi 5 door hatchback which should use about 100 litres less fuel per month than my current VE Commodore.

No doubt there will be the occasional whine from family members who usually turn to me to provide the big comfortable car, but I expect to be able to cope with that.
