We provide everything that is available directly under this page freely, but we expect you to respect our copyright on it.

Our HTTP server does not accept any incoming data; please don't waste your time trying to store anything on our server.

We don't believe in sending surprises to you either. We don't send cookies, java applets, javascript or any other data that you don't explicitly request.

We don't believe in wasting your time or our own limited bandwidth with lots of images or other flashy but content-free material. If you're looking for glitz, this is not the right place.

We assume you have setup your browser window sizes, fonts, etc., in a way that pleases you and suits your needs. We try not to interfere with that. We strive to make this site accessible to text-mode browsers such as w3m.

We would appreciate it if you would respect the fact that we live on the end of a slow telephone line and that we pay by volume for our connection. Therefore, if you plan to send 500 students to look at something here, please mirror the data of interest on your own site with an acknowledgement of its source. We'd like to hear of any mirrors (public or private), but that's not a condition of access.

We have no time for spammers, crackers and other vandals.
